Buckinghamshire-based accountancy firm The Fish Partnership is celebrating having been named as one of the UK’s top ten employers in the profession.
The firm has made the British Accountancy Awards 2016 shortlist for Best Employer, which contains ten of the country’s best independent accountancy practices– based upon a survey conducted by their own staff.
This study looked at the level of support staff received and the feeling of job satisfaction they enjoyed while working at The Fish Partnership.
This is the fifth time in a row that the firm has been shortlisted in this category at the prestigious ceremony, having previously won the overall award in 2011.
Martin Sheehy, Managing Director at the firm, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award yet again and I would like to thank all of our team for speaking so kindly about The Fish Partnership.
“We take great pride in making our firm a great place to work and we try to make sure that all of our staff members have the opportunity to develop their career and progress – this is a core value of our practice.”
The team at The Fish Partnership will find out if they have won the overall prize of Best Employer 2016 at a glitzy awards evening, due to be held at The Brewery in London on 29 November 2016.
Kevin Reed, head of editorial at Accountancy Age who run the awards, said: “Our Best Employer award process is robust and rigorous, so the top firms this year should be very proud that their employees think so highly of their workplace – and meet our benchmark.”
