Exam success at Buckinghamshire accountancy practice
A trainee accountant at High Wycombe-based firm The Fish Partnership is celebrating after qualifying as a senior.
James Painter passed his final two ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant) exams in Audit and Assurance and Advanced Tax to qualify with the global body for professional accountants.
He said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have finally qualified after years of hard work.
“I would like to thank everyone at the firm for their help and assistance throughout my training.”
Two other trainees at the Loudwater-firm are closer to qualification after passing their latest set of papers.
Andrew Carpenter has passed two ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) Application modules on Financial Accounting and Audit and Assurance.
These are the first exams that Andrew has passed at the Application stage, the second tier of ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) exams, having passed six modules at the initial knowledge stage last year.
Andrew has now passed eight of 15 exams.
In addition Richard Lane passed two exams towards ACCA qualification in Audit and Assurance and Financial Management.
Managing partner Martin Sheehy said: “I would like to congratulate James, Andy and Richard on their excellent exam results.
“At The Fish Partnership, we view staff training and development as a valuable investment which benefits both the company and our clients.
“Having watched both their progress since they joined the firm, I am extremely proud of their achievements.”
