Fish Partnership Gives Students Insight into Accountancy

High Wycombe-based chartered accountancy firm The Fish Partnership has continued its ongoing commitment to playing an active role in the local community by offering school pupils an insight into the industry.

The firm, which also sponsors a youth team at Wycombe Wanderers RUFC and a local netball team, has offered work experience placements to pupils for several years now.

Working with Bucks Educational Business Partnership, the practice has allowed many students from local schools the opportunity to gain experience of working in a professional office environment.

In addition to taking in work experience students, the firm also attends local school career events, has had involvement with the Young Enterprise scheme and contributes time and money to local charities.

Partner in the firm Martin Sheehy said: “We have always enjoyed allowing the students into the firm in order to allow them to get valuable and practical work experience and to take the opportunity to ask our accountancy students what the job is really like.”
