Accountants Welcome New Recruits
High Wycombe-based accountants the Fish Partnership have welcomed two new members to their team.
The latest additions are trainees James Painter and Rizwan Hussain. James is working in the audit and accounts department and preparing to start his studies towards qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) while Rizwan is based in the tax department and will soon begin studying for membership of the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT).
James chose accounting as a career after taking a business studies A level and then graduating from Brunel University with a degree in financial computing. He said: “I have always been interested in the finance side of business and after my degree decided that accountancy was the best route for me. I am really enjoying my role so far, thanks to the variety of the clients and the work involved in a practice like this.”
Rizwan particularly enjoyed the tax module of his degree from the University of Birmingham in accounting and finance and chose tax as the topic for his dissertation. He said: “Tax is complex and the law keeps changing, so you have to be motivated and on the ball to work in this area. Anyone who goes into tax as a career accepts that it is challenging, but I find it really interesting.”
